FACULTY OF EDUCATION

The faculty of education focuses on all aspects of learning and teaching among people of all ages and all levels of schooling. The three research environments are Learning, Interaction and Mediated communication.


FACULTY OF FINE, APPLIED AND PERFORMING ARTS

The faculty of fine, applied and performing arts covers a wide range or artful disciplines: crafts, design, fine arts, film direction, literary composition, music, musical theatre, opera, photography and theatre. The teachers are well established artists, designers and producers.


FACULTY OF SCIENCE

The faculty of science offers world class facilities at a high international standard where you can delve deep into all major areas in mathematics and the natural sciences. Profile areas include Environmental, Marine and Life sciences.


FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE

The faculty of social sciences deal with the big issues of modern day life, such as environment, health and poverty. Global change, democracy and social relations are just some examples of research areas you will find here.


THE SAHLGRENSKA ACADEMY

The Sahlgrenska Academy has a holistic approach to medicine, pharmacology, odontology and health care sciences. The cross-boundary research here is of the highest international standards, in fields such as cardiovascular disease and metabolism to name a few.


SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, ECONOMICS AND LAW

The School of Business, Economics and Law is a power-house of an education, combining leading researchers, international guest professors, top-level industry contacts and governments with extensive career service and 150+ partner universities worldwide.


THE IT FACULTY

The IT faculty is a joint effort by the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology. Its research and education span from abstract mathematics to social science studies, with focus on computer science & engineering, and applied information technology.
